It is real women buying the clothes and products and they wish to see real women wearing them. If a "real woman" sees a stick wearing the dress she has no idea what it will look like on herself. It might as well be displayed on an animated clothes hanger. If the only purpose is to look at art I suppose a stick is as good as anything else, but if the purpose is to sell a product to a real woman, then a real woman should be used to show the product.
